ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Dee Brown, Shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson, Small forward Caron Butler, Power forward Antawn Jamison, Center JaVale McGee. Bench -- Guard Juan Dixon, Forward Darius Songaila, Forward Andray Blatche, Guard Nick Young, Center Etan Thomas.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Antawn Jamison has notched five straight double-doubles and now has seven on the season.

--C JaVale McGee is not only starting now, but he is playing a much bigger role than anyone would have expected. The rookie is averaging almost 22 minutes per game. He is fourth on the team in scoring (8.5) and leads the Wizards with one blocked shot per game.

--G Juan Dixon has yet to miss a free throw this season. He is 1-for-1, having made his lone attempt on Nov. 5.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Caron Butler left Saturday's game with New York in the second quarter after being hit in the mouth. He required a few stitches to close the wound.

--G Gilbert Arenas is out until early January, as he is recovering from his third knee surgery. He has begun his rehabilitation but has not given his own timeframe for recovery.

--C Brendan Haywood had surgery on his injured right wrist (damaged ligaments) in New York about two weeks before the start of the season. He is wearing a cast.
