Washington Wizards Roster Report 2008-10-30
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Antonio Daniels, Shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson, Small forward Caron Butler, Power forward Antawn Jamison, Center Etan Thomas. Bench -- Guard Dee Brown, Forward Darius Songaila, Forward Andray Blatche, Guard Nick Young, Center JaVale McGee.

--Antawn Jamison didn't look like himself against the Nets. After averaging more than 20 points and 10 rebounds last season, Jamison finished with just 14 points and three rebounds.

--DeShawn Stevenson, the team's best three-point shooter last season, looked good going 4-for-8 from long range against the Nets. He's also sporting a new clean cut after getting rid of the scraggly beard and hairstyle he wore last season.

--Dominic McGuire knows that this is a big year for him. It is clear that coach Eddie Jordan has not been satisfied with the production he's gotten from Darius Songaila. Look for McGuire to begin taking more of his minutes.

--G Gilbert Arenas is out until early January recovering from his third knee surgery. He has begun his rehabilitation but he has not given his own time frame for recovery.

--C Brendan Haywood had surgery on his injured right wrist (damaged ligaments) in New York about two weeks before the start of the season. He is presently wearing a cast.
