Washington Wizards Notes, Quotes 2009-03-30
--One local newspaper has speculated that the Wizards might be trying to throw games in order to secure the most possible ping-pong balls for the lottery. But if this were the case, why would they bring back Gilbert Arenas now?

--Interim coach Ed Tapscott is happy to have Gilbert Arenas back in the lineup. Here is his response to the player's comeback on Saturday: "A terrific performance. As good as you can expect in his first game. He sure makes the game easier to coach."

--The Wizards have used 18 different starting lineups this season.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "I was surprised that the building wasn't a little more fired up at first. It was kind of dead when we came out." -- Wizards' rookie Javaris Crittenton, on the reaction in Washington to the return of Gilbert Arenas.
