Washington Wizards Notes, Quotes 2008-03-27
--The Wizards have won seven of their last eight games.

--The Sonics are the fifth team the Wizards have swept this season. The others are Dallas (2-0), the Clippers (2-0), Minnesota (2-0) and New Orleans (2-0).

--Antawn Jamison is on the verge of becoming the first Wizard to average 20 points and 10 boards since Chris Webber did it in the 1996-97 season. In franchise history, only Elvin Hayes (six times), Walt Bellamy (four), Moses Malone (twice), Pervis Ellison, Jeff Ruland, Gus Johnson and Webber have accomplished this.

--Entering the team's game at Seattle on Wednesday, guard DeShawn Stevenson had made 125 three-pointers. In his seven previous seasons, Stevenson had made a grand total of 127.

--The Wizards have played extremely well against some of the elite teams in the league. They are 1-1 this season versus the Pistons with one more to play later this month. They own two victories each over Boston, Dallas, New Orleans and Cleveland.

--Washington is undefeated (7-0) on the road against Southeast Division teams this season.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "My game is definitely going to be different." -- Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas, acknowledging that he is still not himself yet as he prepares to rejoin the team after two knee surgeries.
