Washington Wizards Getting Inside 2009-11-26

Washington Wizards Getting Inside 2009-11-26The mounting losses are beginning to take a toll on the Wizards. Following their 106-84 drubbing by San Antonio over the weekend, fingers started to point and comments came to life that indicated that the Wizards have some problems not just on the court but internally as well.

Gilbert Arenas has said there are players with "hidden agendas." Caron Butler has indicated that the ball moves better when diminutive point guard Earl Boykins is on the floor as opposed to Arenas.

While it has been speculated for months that Butler and Arenas do not get along, Butler recently announced that he has spoken to Arenas about things that were being written in the local papers and discussed on talk radio (Arenas said that Butler is robbing him of assists when he puts the ball on the floor to create space).

Whatever the case may be, the Wizards are losing games in a division that is markedly better than it was last year. If things don't change and change soon, it will only become worse.

WIZARDS 108, 76ERS 107: The Wizards staved off a furious Philadelphia rally in the fourth quarter to preserve the victory, just their second in the last 10 games. Philadelphia point guard Louis Williams missed a potential game-winning 3-point shot at the buzzer. Antawn Jamison led the Wizards with 32 points and 14 rebounds.
