- Basketball: Tickets go on sale Monday for the Boston Celtics' preseason game Oct. 14 against the Toronto Raptors at the XL Center in Hartford. Tickets, priced at $75, $60, $45, $25 or $15, plus surcharges, can be purchased through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 or at Ticketmaster outlets . . . Thirty years after the Washington Wizards became the first NBA team to visit China, veterans of the team plan a return trip next month. Hall of Fame center Wes Unseld, a star of the 1979 team then known as the Bullets, will be joined on the visit Sept. 5-15 by current Wizards players Caron Butler and Randy Foye.
